Your Reality Is a Delayed Mirror (Which Is Both Helpful and Inconvenient)
Here’s where people trip themselves up.
They start shifting things internally… and then something goes sideways.
A situation pops up. Something feels off. Old patterns show up again.
And they think, “Well, that didn’t work.”
But what you’re seeing is not today’s energy.
It’s old patterns finishing their little performance.
Think of it like your life is catching up to the new you… but it’s running slightly behind.
So when something shows up that you don’t like, it’s not a sign to panic.
It’s a sign that the old version of you is still clearing out.
If you react the same way as before, you keep the cycle going.
If you respond differently… that’s when things start to shift.
There’s Already a Version of You Living That Reality
Now here’s where it gets interesting.
If you have a desire, there is already a version of reality where that exists.
Not in some distant future.
Right now.
The question isn’t “how do I get there?”
The question is:
Who would I need to be for that to feel normal?
Because you don’t get the result first.
You become the version of you who matches it… and then life rearranges itself accordingly.
That version of you:
- Thinks differently
- Feels more grounded and certain
- Makes decisions without spiralling
- Takes action instead of waiting for permission
- Doesn’t panic at every minor inconvenience
And here’s the part most people skip…
They try to act like that person briefly… then abandon it the moment it feels uncomfortable.
Which is usually about five minutes in.
Your Actions Are Quietly Running the Show
Let’s clear something up.
Your physical actions are not separate from your “energy”.
They are one of the most powerful ways to shift it.
If your day looks like avoiding things, overthinking, scrolling, and hoping something changes…
You’re reinforcing the identity of someone who feels stuck.
If your day includes even small, intentional actions that align with where you’re going…
Your state begins to shift.
And when your state shifts, your results follow.
So instead of asking:
“What do I need to do to fix this?”
Try asking:
“What would the version of me who already has this do today?”
Then go and do that.
Even if it feels slightly uncomfortable.
Especially then.
This Doesn’t Need to Be Complicated
You don’t need a 47-step morning routine or a personality transplant.
You need to interrupt the pattern.
Start here:
- Notice your default thoughts about your situation
- Catch yourself when you drop into old reactions
- Choose a different thought that actually supports where you’re going
- Take one small, aligned action instead of freezing
Then repeat.
Daily.
Not perfectly. Just consistently.
Because repetition is what rewires the subconscious.
And once that changes… everything else follows much more easily.
Stop Chasing Results… Start Becoming the Match
If you’re not a match for what you want, it won’t stick around.
Simple as that.
So your job is not to chase the outcome.
It’s to become the version of you who naturally experiences it.
And that happens by shifting:
- Your beliefs
- Your thoughts
- Your emotions
- And your actions
In that order.
When those line up, your external world has no choice but to reflect it back.
Even if it takes a minute to catch up.
