But what they’re actually doing is replaying the same internal pattern… just with better lighting and a vision board.
Here’s how it works:
- Your beliefs sit quietly in the subconscious
- Those beliefs create your thoughts
- Your thoughts trigger your emotions
- Your emotions drive your actions
- Your actions create your results
So if your results are not changing… it’s not because you need to “try harder”.
It’s because the pattern underneath hasn’t changed.
You’re basically trying to bake a different cake with the same dodgy ingredients.
The Sneaky Blocks No One Talks About
Now let’s get to the good part – the stuff that’s been sabotaging you while you’ve been out here trying to “stay positive”.
These are the usual suspects:
Fear (The Drama Queen)
Fear of losing it.
Fear of getting it wrong.
Fear of having responsibility.
So you say you want more… but your system is quietly going, “Absolutely not, that sounds stressful.”
And guess what wins?
Not your Pinterest board.
Guilt (The Silent Assassin)
This one’s sneaky.
You might feel like:
- “Other people have it worse than me”
- “Who am I to have more?”
- “I shouldn’t want this much”
So every time things start improving… you subconsciously pull yourself back to “acceptable”.
It’s like hitting an invisible ceiling and then politely apologising for getting too close to it.
Worthiness (The Identity Crisis)
This is the big one.
If, at a subconscious level, you don’t feel worthy of what you’re asking for…
you will not hold it.
You might attract it briefly.
You might even get excited.
And then suddenly… something happens.
You overspend.
You avoid opportunities.
You ghost your own success.
Scarcity (The Old Programming)
This one usually comes from childhood.
Things like:
- “Money doesn’t grow on trees”
- “We can’t afford that”
- “You have to work really hard for everything”
So even when opportunities are right in front of you, your system filters them out.
Because your internal world is still operating from “there’s not enough”.
And your external world has no choice but to match that.
Why Your Desire Already Exists (And Why That Matters)
Here’s where things get interesting.
If you have a desire… there is already a version of reality where that desire is normal.
Not exciting.
Not “one day”.
Just… standard.
That version of you:
- thinks differently
- feels differently
- behaves differently
And because of that… she gets different results.
So the question isn’t:
“How do I get what I want?”
The real question is:
“What version of me already has this… and what is she doing differently?”
Because right now, you’re trying to create a new outcome… while staying the same person.
And that’s like trying to tune a radio to a different station without moving the dial.
Your Actions Are Telling On You
Here’s something people don’t love hearing, but it’s important.
Your physical actions are a direct reflection of your internal state.
If you feel scarcity… you’ll act cautiously.
If you feel unworthy… you’ll hesitate.
If you feel fear… you’ll delay.
And then you’ll say:
“I don’t know why nothing is working.”
Meanwhile your actions are basically whispering,
“We don’t believe this is possible.”
And the Universe just reflects that straight back to you.
How to Actually Shift This
Alright. Enough calling you out. Let’s fix it.
Here’s how you start breaking the pattern:
1. Catch the Pattern
Notice where you:
- hesitate
- overthink
- avoid
- play small
That’s your subconscious speaking.
Not your logic.
2. Call Out the Belief
Ask yourself:
“What would I have to believe for this behaviour to make sense?”
You’ll usually find something like:
- “It’s not safe”
- “I’m not ready”
- “This won’t work for me”
There it is.
3. Choose a New Internal Standard
Not a fluffy affirmation.
A grounded, believable shift.
Something like:
- “It’s safe for me to have more”
- “I can handle this”
- “Opportunities are available to me”
4. Back It With Action
This is where most people fall apart.
You must take action that matches the new belief.
Even if it feels uncomfortable.
Especially if it feels uncomfortable.
Because your actions are what anchor the new state into your reality.
No action = no shift.
Why You Keep Getting the Same Results
Let’s just say it plainly.
You’re not stuck because you’re doing something wrong.
You’re stuck because you’re doing something familiar.
And familiar patterns will always recreate familiar results.
Until you interrupt them.
