What is your purpose in this life?
For most of my younger life I felt I was here to do something “important”, and I remember at 24 thinking, “There is more I am supposed to be doing in this life than working at this bank!”. But I had no idea what that thing was, so I went about building my career, making my way up the ranks until I really knew I was completely out of place!
Although I come across as confident and I get along well with everyone I meet, I always felt out of place – like I never really fit in. It wasn’t until I reached my mid 40’s that I finally started to understand why!
My true purpose in life was never to work in the finance or IT industry – it was to help others, but for a very long time I had no idea how I was going to provide this help! I was always the person my friends came to for advice because I never had a problem giving it – even if they didn’t like what I was saying! But helping friends out of a tough situation wasn’t exactly my calling – it was definitely something bigger than that!
In 2018 I was finally awoken to what was really going on for me, and since that time I have dug a lot deeper to find out how I was going to do it!
My purpose (as I have finally worked out!) is to do the following:
- To prove that you are capable of creating the life that you desire.
- To empower you to make better decisions which support your greatest good
- To help you find your inner sparkle so you can truly shine!
I’m here on this earth to help people to help themselves!
If you’re feeling stuck and wondering what your purpose in life is, I have a feeling that if you’re reading this, you’re possibly going to find yourself immersed in the “woowoo” world that I really love!
Maybe your purpose is to learn how to get into what’s really going on for you so that you can help others to do the same?
We never truly understand something until we can explain it in a way to someone else so that they can understand it too. The best way to gain understanding is to experience it, right? So maybe your path has been to go through your experiences and come out the other side, so you can help others to do that too?
