This means that whatever you consistently feed your subconscious mind will eventually manifest in your conscious actions and behaviours. Imagine your mind as a garden: if you plant positive, uplifting thoughts, you’ll grow a beautiful, flourishing life. Conversely, if you let in negativity and fear, your life will reflect those weeds.
Why TV and Media Matter
One significant source of input is television. When you watch TV, especially in a relaxed state, you enter what’s known as the alpha state—a highly suggestible, hypnotic state. Everything you watch, whether it’s the news, movies, or TV dramas, is absorbed by your subconscious mind as truth. This is why it’s crucial to be mindful of what you’re watching. Shows filled with violence, negativity, and despair can deeply impact your subconscious, leading to anxiety, depression, and a skewed perception of reality.
I personally avoid watching the news and prefer feel-good programs or educational content. This way, I ensure that what I let into my mind uplifts me rather than drags me down.
