We Visit a Past Life in Ancient Roman Times
Today we talk about a time when we visit a past life in ancient Roman times. This client is an outgoing man who’s very tall with broad shoulders.
After regressing through this current life, he takes me back to ancient times and describes himself as tall and strong. He is wearing metal items on his arms, he is adorned with gold pieces, and wears a robe or a cape over his back.
We get a better idea of who this man is
He tells me that he seems to be a point of interest or power, as he sees the people looking up at him.
He is surrounded by stone buildings, and he knows that inside are people who are there to serve him.
He wears sandals on his feet, and quality clothing on his body. He is in his 30’s and is male (obviously!), and is big, strong, and healthy, with dark brown hair.
He tells me he is holding a “Gladius”.
I had to look this up later as neither of us had any idea what it was. It turns out it was a Roman sword used from around 216 BC until 20 BC. Its blade had a length of 60–68 cm (24–27 in), and the sword was 75–85 cm (30–33 in).
The sword featured a sharply pointed tip and dual edges, enhancing its ability to penetrate his enemy’s armour more efficiently than its predecessors. Typically, the hilt was crafted from wood and adorned with either bronze or silver plating. The gladius was also equipped with a pommel, aiding soldiers in achieving superior balance and control of their weapon.
Does this man have any family?
He tells me that he has been fighting in battles and although they won their last battle he doesn’t feel that they did – too many lives were lost.
He tells me he has no family and lives a life of solitude when he’s not out doing “Roman fighter things”.
He travels either on foot or on a horse, and sees horses with carriages moving along cobblestones.
We fast forward to the death scene in this past life regression
This man wasn’t a happy man, and when he was in his 40’s he took his own life. He saw himself floating near the shore, so it seems he travelled to the ocean to end his life.
He told me he didn’t want to be there anymore and that dying was actually a relief.
What he learned as we visit a past life to Roman times
He tells me that he chose a more difficult path for this life and that people didn’t really understand him.
He also felt a lack of connection to the people around him, similar to what he experiences now in this lifetime.
When I ask why we were shown this past life, he tells me that it is to show the similarities between both his past and current lives.
He also tells me that he is now aware of how much he gave to others – and still does now – to his own detriment.
Is there a recurring pattern in his past lives?
I ask him if he has found himself in similar situations in any of his past lives, and he confirms that yes, he has had four other lives where he gave to others with little in return.
I take him through the healing process to help him to let go of this pattern, and he tells me that his feeling of loneliness is lifting, and he believes that this is the last time he will experience this pattern. He also tells me that he feels lighter.
Conclusion
To protect the identity of my clients I can only reveal so much about our sessions together, but what became very clear here is that my client was feeling very alone during that life.
He was a man of high stature and he was a powerful fighter in what would have been many battles during his time in that life. At the same time, he was lonely and unfulfilled, realising that although he gave so much for those he was fighting for, he received very little in return.
The message for my client from this regression is that he needs to stop giving so much and depleting his own energy to help others. This is because it will do nothing more than leave him feeling alone and empty inside.
