Some people have their life-changing realisations in the shower. Others have them halfway through a meditation retreat while staring thoughtfully at a candle. And then there was Sophie. Her breakthrough happened while lying comfortably on a recliner with her eyes closed during a Past Life Regression session, quietly discovering that in another lifetime she had been a woman named Margaret… whose story ended rather abruptly in a rain-soaked parking lot.
It turns out enlightenment sometimes arrives wearing muddy shoes.
A Child Hiding From Chaos
When Sophie first drifted into Margaret’s lifetime, she found herself as a small child of about five years old, barefoot and crouched low in the mud between rows of foggy apartment buildings while adults rushed around in confusion nearby. She wasn’t playing hide-and-seek or inventing imaginative childhood games; she was hiding because the situation around her felt chaotic and frightening, with people running in different directions while others were being dragged away.
The fear in the scene was thick and heavy, the kind that lingers in the air long after the moment has passed.
Her small dress had puffed sleeves gathered at the wrists, her pale legs were streaked with dirt, and although she had no idea where her family had gone, she somehow knew that the safest thing she could do was remain perfectly still and wait.
A Moment Of Joy
As the regression moved forward through that lifetime, Sophie found herself eight years older and celebrating a birthday that felt almost magically ordinary compared to the earlier chaos she had experienced. There was cake on the table, friends laughing nearby, family gathered around, and a cat and dog weaving between people’s legs in the way animals do when they sense something interesting might fall from the table.
It was one of those rare moments where everything felt warm, safe, and reassuringly normal.
Yet even in the middle of that celebration, the earlier feeling of being left alone still lingered quietly beneath the surface, like an old echo that never quite fades away.
The Rainy Night
Margaret’s final day, however, did not involve growing old peacefully while surrounded by family.
Instead, it unfolded on a stormy evening when rain was pouring down so heavily that it blurred the edges of everything around her.
She was running across a slippery parking lot, trying to reach home quickly before the storm grew worse, when something unexpected happened.
“I see bright lights… then everything’s dark,” Sophie said quietly during the session.
A car had turned the corner at exactly the wrong moment, and within seconds there was the sickening sound of impact, the sensation of falling to the wet ground, and then an immediate awareness that the life she had been living had suddenly ended.
What lingered in that final moment wasn’t anger or fear.
It was the deep sense that there were still things left unsaid and experiences she had never quite had the chance to live.
The scene also explained something Sophie had struggled with in this lifetime without ever fully understanding why. Whenever cars approached from a particular direction, she would feel an intense surge of panic that seemed far stronger than the situation required.
Now the reason was clear.
Her body had been remembering something her conscious mind never knew.
The Karmic Culprit
When Sophie connected with her Higher Self during the session, the reason for being shown this lifetime became unmistakably clear.
The theme was abandonment.
Margaret’s life had been shaped by repeated experiences of feeling left behind or separated from the people she loved, and Sophie had unknowingly carried that emotional pattern forward into her current life like a hand-me-down jumper nobody particularly wanted but somehow kept wearing anyway.
“The minute somebody walks out the door, I feel like they’re never coming back,” she admitted.
And the surprise didn’t stop there.
It turned out that this was not simply a one-lifetime issue.
Sophie had been working through the same emotional pattern for ten separate lifetimes.
Apparently her Soul was very committed to finishing the lesson.
The Big Energetic Handover
During the release process in the session, Sophie saw something remarkable.
Ten versions of herself from those lifetimes appeared standing together in a circle around her.
Each version carried a different colour of energy – deep royal blue, soft pink, bright lime green, and several others – and together they focused on a heavy, dark energetic mass sitting in Sophie’s heart, which she described as an “abandonment blob.”
One by one, each past-life self stepped forward and took a piece of that heavy energy.
“As they each take a piece, I feel myself getting lighter and lighter,” Sophie said, her voice filled with relief and disbelief at the same time.
What had once been a dense emotional weight was gradually dissolving as the pattern that had been repeated for centuries was finally released.
The Lesson For All Of Us
Margaret’s soggy parking lot ending was not really about crossing roads carefully or paying closer attention to headlights.
The deeper message was far more powerful.
When we make our happiness dependent on who stays and who leaves, we unknowingly give away pieces of our emotional freedom.
The real lesson was learning how to love people deeply while still remaining whole within ourselves, regardless of whether others stay, go, or wander off halfway through the story.
By releasing the abandonment pattern, Sophie didn’t just free herself from Margaret’s stormy night in that parking lot.
She freed herself from centuries of emotional mud that had quietly been shaping her reactions in this lifetime.
What About You?
Your own past lives may not involve rainy parking lots or sudden encounters with poorly timed vehicles, but there is a good chance that your Soul is carrying patterns that began long before this lifetime started.
A Quantum Soul Regression can help uncover those patterns, understand why they are still influencing your life today, and release the ones that no longer belong in your story.
If you’re curious about what your own Soul history might reveal, you can book your Past Life Regression here:
Sometimes the emotional patterns shaping your present life began centuries ago.
And sometimes all it takes is one session to finally let them go.
