Some past life regression sessions reveal emotional wounds that need healing.
Others uncover something equally powerful.
A soul that became so committed to its mission that it forgot how to rest.
In this Past Life Regression session, my client – we’ll call him Daniel – discovered a past life as a Knights Templar who took his purpose extremely seriously. His dedication was admirable, but the intensity of that mission followed him straight into this lifetime.
Including physical symptoms.
Including money blocks.
And including a remarkable difficulty allowing himself to relax.
A Knight With a Sacred Mission
Early in the regression, Daniel found himself standing in armour.
“Silver boots. Armour. I am a Knights Templar.”
He quickly became aware of where he was and what he was doing.
“I am in a cave guarding treasure… we operate in the dark and in secrecy.”
This wasn’t a casual task. It was a sacred responsibility, one carried out in silence and hidden from the world.
His role was to protect something important until the time came to move it.
“I am waiting for the light. It will shine and show me where to go.”
The sense of duty in that lifetime was intense.
Mission Accomplished
As the regression progressed, Daniel moved forward in that life and saw the outcome of his work.
“We have completed our mission. Everything is preserved.”
The mission had succeeded.
The treasure was safe.
Many of his companions had survived.
“Joyous and elated. We did not lose many friends.”
From the outside, the life looked successful and honourable.
But something subtle had also taken root.
The Weight That Remained
At the end of that lifetime, Daniel found himself lying peacefully in a forest.
“At the base of some trees, lying in a bed of moss and flowers.”
There was no fear and no sense of unfinished business.
“I am happy. I have served well, lived a good life, and completed my mission.”
Yet another feeling was present alongside the peace.
“Peace… but some sadness.”
When asked why, the answer revealed the pattern that followed him across lifetimes.
“Because those on the other side of the veil are losing the fight against the darkness.”
In other words, even at the end of his life, the mission still felt unfinished.
When the Mission Follows You
After leaving the body, Daniel became aware of something even more revealing.
“I was addicted to my abilities.”
Not addicted to power.
Addicted to responsibility.
He had become deeply attached to the identity of protector, guardian, and servant of a greater cause.
There was also a fear.
“Fear that I would forget.”
So rather than releasing the identity and moving forward, part of his soul held tightly to it.
And that pattern followed him into the present lifetime.
Guidance From the Other Side
During the regression, Daniel connected with his Higher Self, which appeared as a powerful eagle.
“I am the eagle. Invincible.”
Eventually he encountered a council of elders who delivered guidance that was surprisingly direct.
“Your resistance is futile.”
The message was clear.
Stop holding yourself back.
“It is not egotistical to show how big and powerful you could be, so long as you travel with love in your heart.”
Then came the observation that connected everything.
“He insists on staying small.”
How Old Patterns Affect the Body
The guidance also explained how this pattern was showing up physically in Daniel’s current life.
His symptoms were linked to unconscious self-punishment.
“This is an irritation and a self punishment. He irritates himself with his thoughts.”
Even his feet were involved in the pattern.
“He hobbles himself so he does not walk down the wrong path.”
Sometimes the body slows us down because the soul recognises that we are blocking ourselves.
The Lesson Many People Need to Hear
One of the most powerful insights from this session was about joy.
Daniel had developed a belief that enjoyment needed to be earned through service.
“This is why he does not allow himself to have fun.”
He believed that if he worked harder, served more, and sacrificed enough, he could eventually make things right.
Many spiritually driven people fall into this pattern.
They believe purpose must involve struggle.
That rest needs justification.
And that joy is something reserved for later.
The elders had a different perspective.
“Luxury is not a sin. Guilt is the sin.”
The Shift That Changes Everything
The solution wasn’t pushing harder or trying to serve more.
It was letting go.
“If he simply takes his feet off the brake, he will roll forward naturally.”
In other words, progress was already waiting.
The only thing stopping it was resistance.
The final message was simple.
“You must play.”
Even the universe appreciates a happy dance.
A Question Worth Asking Yourself
If you constantly feel tired, blocked, or unable to relax, it may be worth asking yourself something honestly.
Where are you still punishing yourself?
Where are you carrying a responsibility that no longer needs to be yours alone?
And where have you decided that joy must wait until everything else is finished?
Sometimes the most powerful spiritual shift is allowing yourself to live rather than constantly proving your worth.
