Some past life regression sessions gently reveal insights layer by layer.
Others begin with something so unexpected that it takes a moment for the mind to catch up.
This Past Life Regression session fell firmly into the second category.
My client – we’ll call him Ethan – came to the session because he had been dealing with repeated physical issues, frustration, and a persistent feeling that something was blocking him. No matter how hard he worked, something seemed to push back.
What emerged during the regression wasn’t a medieval monk or a farmer from centuries past.
It was a lifetime as a warrior on a barren planet, hunting reptilian beings as part of a highly disciplined squadron.
Unexpected, yes.
But once the deeper pattern became clear, the reason that life appeared made perfect sense.
A Mission on a Harsh Planet
Early in the regression, Ethan described standing on a planet that looked barren and desert-like.
“It is barren like Mars. Orangey. Desert. We are hunting reptilians.”
He couldn’t see his hands because he was wearing a protective suit designed for the environment. His feet had claw-like adaptations to grip the terrain, and he described himself as tall, powerful, and highly intelligent.
Emotionally, the energy of that life was intense.
Cold. Focused. Driven.
“They are bad. Real bad.”
This wasn’t a peaceful existence. Everything revolved around the mission.
When Anger Narrows Your Awareness
As the regression continued, Ethan arrived at a pivotal moment in that lifetime.
“I think someone jumped out and I did not see them coming. They smashed my feet.”
Later, while recovering in what appeared to be a medical chamber, he realised something important.
“My anger blinded me.”
That realisation was the key lesson of that life.
The problem wasn’t the enemy or the mission itself.
It was the anger that had taken over his perception. The more focused he became on fighting, the less aware he was of what was happening around him.
His rage had literally narrowed his awareness.
A Pattern That Continued Across Lifetimes
As the session went deeper, Ethan became aware that this was not the only lifetime where this theme appeared.
There were several others with similar emotional patterns.
Different environments.
Different identities.
But the same underlying issue.
Anger.
Self-judgement.
Punishment.
At one point he recognised something important.
“I sent them to learn about anger and letting it go. But I realise now I have to let it go myself.”
In other words, the lesson he thought he was teaching others was actually his own.
When Emotional Patterns Show Up in the Body
During the regression, Ethan also became aware of how this pattern had followed him into his current life.
“I punished my feet. That is where I punished myself.”
He then described a strong pressure around his head.
“It is like a ring. A heavy ring. Like a prison shackle.”
When asked how this energy affected him, the answer was immediate.
“It is hindering my ability to manifest. It stops me from being open.”
This is often how subconscious patterns show up.
Anger becomes self-judgement.
Self-judgement creates tension.
Tension creates energetic restriction.
Eventually the body begins to reflect the pattern.
The body is not being dramatic.
It is being honest.
The Message From the Higher Self
One of the most powerful moments in the session came when Ethan connected with his Higher Self.
“He did not fail. He stumbled.”
That message matters more than people realise.
Many people live with the belief that every setback or delay means they have failed in some way.
But from the perspective of the soul, a stumble is simply part of learning.
The mission was never meant to be carried through punishment.
“His self-imposed imprisonment did not serve.”
And that is where the humour of the session appeared.
This warrior had spent lifetimes taking the mission of protecting the universe extremely seriously.
But he had completely forgotten something essential.
“I do not know how to have fun.”
From Hunting to Healing
When Ethan released the anger pattern during the session, his energy shifted immediately.
“I feel lighter. Free.”
The purpose he carried did not disappear.
It evolved.
“It is a continuation of the same mission. But now it is to heal, not to hunt.”
This shift happens often in regression work.
The core purpose remains, but the way it is expressed becomes more balanced.
Instead of fighting, the work becomes healing.
Instead of pushing harder, it becomes allowing.
A Question Worth Asking Yourself
There is a simple question worth reflecting on after hearing a story like this.
Where are you being unnecessarily hard on yourself?
Where are you judging yourself for mistakes that were simply part of learning?
And if your body is sending signals that something needs attention, are you listening to what it might be telling you?
Sometimes the most powerful shift is not working harder.
Sometimes it is giving yourself permission to step out of the pattern entirely.
As Ethan’s Higher Self reminded him:
“Stop playing small. Be big. Make your light shine.”
