How to ask your spirit guides for help

If you’ve ever wanted to know how to ask your spirit guides for help, you’ve landed in the right place! The reason why I say this is because I learned a good way to do this, I tested it out, and it worked!

So yesterday I was heading to the fodder farm to collect eucalyptus branches for my five rescue possums. These guys eat soooo much leaf. So I need to head out every day to stock up to make sure they have fresh leaf to prepare for their freedom. Four of them should have “moved out” last Wednesday, but at least one keeps coming back! 😀

While I do my fodder farm treks I listen to podcasts, and lately I’ve been listening to a podcast by a couple of psychic ladies who talk about numerous topics. These include healing, tarot readings, ghosts, angels, spirit guides and a whole lot of other metaphysical stuff.

Yesterday’s topic was about asking for help from your spirit guides, and how to do it in a way so you know they’ve heard you.

So here’s what they suggested you do:

1. Be specific with your question.
2. Ask for your spirit guide to confirm it’s a “yes” answer by showing you a specific sign.
3. Detach from the outcome and get on with your day.

So here’s what I asked, so you have an example to work with:

I asked my spirit guide if they could confirm for me whether I was on the correct path in creating my manifestation courses – was this something I should absolutely be doing now.

I asked my guides to confirm that I was on the correct path by sending me a fairy. Yes, a fairy!

All afternoon I kept my eyes peeled for fairies, but there were none to be seen, and I just let it go. Then today I went to lunch with Laurie (my husband) and was scrolling through my phone when I came across a stunning photo of a bright blue fairy wren like the one featured here.

I showed it to my husband, noting how pretty it was, and didn’t think much of it – until about a minute later!!!!!

IT WAS MY FAIRY!!!!!!!

Ok, so it wasn’t exactly the type of fairy I was expecting (aka a woman with wings!) – instead it was a beautiful fairy wren!

My guides know I absolutely LOVE birds, so clearly they felt it fitting to send me a sign in the form of a fairy wren!

This made my day! 😀
