How do past life choices cause present life struggles? I didn’t even know this was a thing until I started delving into the world of past life regressions and Akashic Records work, but here I am! I now understand that what we did during our past lives can have a HUGE impact on this one!

An example of how past life choices cause present life struggles

I remember reading Dr Michael Newton’s book, Journey of Souls, where he shared a case study with a woman who had unexplainable pain across both of her thighs. Doctors hadn’t been able to find the cause.

During a past life regression, she took him back to a time when she’d fallen out of a horse-drawn carriage and her legs were run over, leaving her crippled in that life.

When she woke up, the pain was completely gone!

What this all means

When we make “negative” choices – that is, choices which are misaligned to us – we create an energetic “imprint”. When we perpetuate that choice through our continued actions in that life, this imprint becomes a block or a restriction. The energy of that block or restriction will then be played out in subsequent lives until the energy is cleared.

When we act unconsciously during our lives, we unknowingly align those actions with the energies of the blocks and restrictions, perpetuating them further. So something has to change so the energy can be cleared!

The energy is cleared is by:

1. Identifying the energetic blocks or restrictions – not essential but very helpful!
2. Clearing it energetically (through the Akashic Records or via other energy modalities) – not essential but very helpful!
3. Taking new actions

New actions are the one essential element to clearing the energies. While identifying and clearing them energetically will speed up the process, the new actions alone can create the change required to clear them for good.

Past life choices and financial abundance

The vast majority of my clients come to me for help with their financial situation, and I am never surprised to see a common theme that links back to past life vows or contracts, which I identified during my Akashic Records research.

In the case of a vow, I often see a vow of poverty or a vow of sacrifice. These vows are often to a religious organisation or to a person in authority. In every case, the individual gave up something of worth during a ritual or ceremony during that past life, then live a good portion of that life under that vow or agreement.

Sometimes the person made a “bargain” in a past life and was later ripped off! One of my most recent clients had this happen, and it occurred to her that she needed to be careful around signing contracts in this life.

Another client made a vow of sacrifice and a vow of poverty during a war when he was captured by the enemy. The deal was that he would endure a public punishment (a whipping), after which he would have to pay a sum of money (like a tax) to a person of authority on his enemy’s side for the rest of his life, in return for his “freedom”.

This was now playing out in his present life as a rash he would get on his back whenever he worried about money! After this energy was cleared, the rash disappeared! Several doctors and healers had tried and failed to help him with this!

When I pick up these energies during my Akashic Records work, it’s very easy to link them to present life issues, which is a very good thing. This is because once we know the root cause, we can do something about it!

And that is why this work is soooo powerful!
