Can animals experience heartache?

I’ve worked with a few dogs now, and what I’ve found interesting is that dogs feel much more deeply than I imagined.

Heartache is a common emotion felt by these gorgeous fur creatures, and as it turns out, it’s usually as a result of them being taken from their mother as a puppy. A dog I worked on today experienced heartache at the time she was separated from her siblings. I also released heartache from my own dog only last week!

Another dog I worked on today experienced panic and vulnerability at around the time he would have been separated from his mother.

If your dog barks excessively or issues such as separation anxiety, it could be that it has some trapped emotions.

Once these emotions are cleared, these “symptoms” often decrease or disappear, leaving your little fur baby feeling calm and happier!
